As an educator with a passion for both teaching and hands-on learning, I bring a unique understanding of the challenges faced by students, shaped by my personal experiences, including participation in the Adult Basic Education program at Tacoma Community College. My journey has instilled a strong commitment to supporting students in overcoming obstacles and reaching their academic goals. I strive to create a welcoming and empowering learning environment where students feel valued and supported in their educational pursuits.

Outside the classroom, I have a wide range of personal interests that reflect my love for creativity and strategy. I enjoy classic car restoration, boxing, and woodworking, as well as staying active through pickleball. I’m also an avid fan of Nintendo games and love the immersive storytelling of Dungeons & Dragons. These hobbies help me balance my professional life with my personal passions, and I enjoy sharing these experiences with students to build stronger connections. I'm proud to be part of Tacoma Community College and collaborate with colleagues who share my dedication to helping students succeed.
